ATTENTION SESSION/SPOUSES

Dinner February 2, 2008 Time & Place to be announced soon!!!

The Deacons are once again collecting Valentines' Day treats to send
to our college students. There will be boxes in the coatroom as well
as the kitchen for you to leave your donations. Some ideas are: candy,
cookies, hot chocolate, microwave popcorn, etc. Thank You!! Deadline
is February 3

I would like to thank the many people who graciously served in the
nursery during 2007. Bethel has a rich tradition of welcoming babies
and children during worship and realizing that their cries and
interruptions are blessing from the Lord. We also realize that some
families need to use the nursery when their little ones are just too
active to sit for an hour. Please be aware that we are always looking
for volunteers to serve in the nursery during the 11:00 service. There
is no lesson to prepare, just a willing heart to give an hour of your
time looking after some wonderful kids. Please don't say "my kids are
bigger now. I've done my turn" because the parents that are using the
nursery many Sunday mornings are really needing that help to be able
to focus on the message that Pastors Dave or Jeremy have prepared for
us. Maybe you attend the 8:30 service, could you volunteer and serve
in the nursery during the 11:00 service, or if you sing in the choir,
could you ser e during the summer? We always try to have an adult
serving, and there are many school-age helpers available so no one
needs to serve along. Pl3ease volunteer for the nursery. Wouldn't it
be great if we had 52 different people that were willing to be a
servant in the nursery during the year 2008. Contact Barbie Bredl, the
2008 Nursery Supervisor to volunteer.

Mission Advocates: Please get your write ups turned in immediately so
