FIRE FUND
We will be receiving an offering for the next few weeks to help with the restoration of damages from the fire at Trosky's home. Silver offering plates are on table in narthex and back of sanctuary. Make checks payable to Bethel Deacons and mark Trosky Fire on memo line.
BLOOD DRIVE
May 7 ~ 1PM to 7PM We need both volunteers to work one of the two shifts and also for donations of cookies, soup and Sloppy Joes. And of course, please plan your day to give blood. We need your donations!! Please let Betty, Margaret, Lee, Hugh or Jon know where you might be able to help.
Mohawk Area Church Women invite all women to their May Fellowship Day on May 1st at 10:30am (Executive meeting at 10AM) at the Westfield Church. The Bessemer Presby. Church is in charge of the Program and it will be Kevin Green from the City Rescue Mission. Luncheon to follow the program.
Wampum Presby. Church is holding a benefit spaghetti dinner for Wilfred Mutale on Sat. April 25,2009 from 4-8PM at Wampum Presby. Church. He is an international student from Zambia attending Geneva College. All proceeds will go toward Wilfred's last semester tuition. Free will offering will be collected at the door, however, you do need a ticket to attend. See Rob or Rachael for tickets.
PROJECT H.O.P.E. Benefit Show, Sun April 26th - 3PM at Bessemer Presby Church~ featuring Christian solo artist Jessica Campbell . Freewill offering collected. All proceeds go to Project H.O.P.E. Refreshments will follow.
