MISSIONS OF THE MONTH
AFRICA RURAL MISSION…..Me and Wilna have had to re-think our future in the Lord and what we need to do to survive. Me and Wilna have all along been helping minister to the street people, sharing the Word and also praying for many who have had sickness issues and other problems. We have been thinking of getting a small facility (room) downtown where most people walk around every day that can be run as a Walk in Prayer Consultation Room. We hope a few business people will support it financially and pay for the rental and overheads. I have also been helping someone who has been doing mission work in Mozambique write a proposal for funding. I have been praying that the Lord will use our experience in the mission field to help others who need a little advice here and there. I have also been working on beginning the writing of a book on missions, which will need a lot of self discipline and extra time in the evenings to get it done. I have also started a used car sale business (very small—one car at a time) to help raise support for me and Wilna during this season in our lives. Wilna has been blessed with "discovering" that she can paint and has sold I think about 5 or 6 paintings.

Bethel’s session is pleased to announce that at our meeting last Tuesday night, the board unanimously approved a plan to proceed to find God’s building plan. This is a step by step recipe that will put the decision process in motion. It begins by taking a fresh look at all the possibilities, asking the important questions, evaluating the answers, and culminating, Lord willing, in a building plan that session will offer to the congregation for your approval. All of this, as we continue to do the most important part, seek God’s guidance and wisdom.
We ask that you continue to pray. At the January meeting a list of building related questions will be compiled. If you have any that you would like to have on that list, please write them on a piece of paper and give them to a session member, place in the offering plate, leave them in the church office, or submit them to Pastor Mark.
2010 OFFERING ENVELOPES are in the coat room.
