Our prayers and sympathy to the family of Betty Dombeck who passed away Monday, February 1, 2010.
The SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER will be observed during morning worship. Anyone who has been baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and who is trusting in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is welcome to partake. For children who have not yet publicly professed their faith, Bethel’s practice is to allow them to participate, if in the judgment of their parents, they understand that Jesus died for their sins.
Today is the last day to donate toward the College Kids Valentine Boxes. Thank you very much to those that have already so generously contributed.
Attention Deacons: We will be packing the boxes on Tuesday at noon. If your schedule allows, just join the Ladies Bible study for lunch and a “Packing Party”.

Charles Lawrence of Lawrence Lane, Enon Valley lost his mobile home and contents in a fire the first of January. There was no insurance.

MISSIONS OF THE MONTH
GEREIF BIBLE SCHOOL…..This school is located in Khartoum Sudan. This 3 year course is designed to prepare evangelist and teachers to go into the communities to share the gospel and to start churches. It is also used as the first level before the Nile Theological College. One problem Gereif Bible School is having is keeping good quality teachers employed. They can make a much higher salary in government employment. Our money sent would help offset this.
CAMPUS CRUSADE…..Ginny (Huston) and Alan Tung relocated about a year ago to the Norfolk, VA area to continue their work for Campus Crusade for Christ. Campus Crusade for Christ is an international organization that launches and facilitates ministries for college campus students, college faculty and staff, military and diplomatic leaders, and business people. Ginny and Alan are connecting with students on four university campuses in the Norfolk area. Recently they hosted 25 other Campus Crusade staff from across the nation in Norfolk to help launch ethnic minority and international campus ministries. They blitzed 2 different campuses with fliers, conversation, and dessert! They conducted informational meetings for interested students and discussed how they might do a better job of reaching out to the African American community on the historically black campus of Hampton University. Key student leaders were found who will help carry out their desire to establish campus ministries.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Praying wives will meet Monday, February 8, 7:15PM at the home of Diane Harman. The topics being discussed will be sexuality and affection.
Mission Committee will meet February 10, 7:00PM in the Library.

Bethel is publishing a “Cookbook” to benefit our building fund.
If you would like to submit a recipe(s) sheets are available in basket on table in narthex and back of sanctuary. We are aiming for 300 recipes or more.
Return by February 21 and place back in basket on table.In the coming week we are taking pre-orders so we have an idea how many to print. Order forms are also on table. Any questions see Phyllis K, Christy S, Sue or Rhae.
