Additional singers are needed for our choir over the next few weeks for the Community Palm Sunday Choral Festival held at Westfield Church. If you can help at all, please come to our Wednesday evening practices here from 7:00-8:00PM.
Project H.O.P.E. will meet on March 15 (7PM) at Mt. Jackson Presbyterian Church. If you are willing to represent Bethel in this organization, please attend the meeting.
EASTER FLOWERS…Deacons will be taking orders for Tulips, Hyacinths and Easter Lilies for the next two weeks. The cost will be $5.00
Deadline for orders will be March 21. Envelopes for ordering are on table in narthex and back of sanctuary. They may be placed in the offering plates.
CALLING ALL COOKS
Bethel is publishing a “Cookbook” to benefit our building fund.
If you would like to submit a recipe(s) sheets are available in basket on table in narthex and back of sanctuary. We are aiming for 300 recipes or more.
Return by March 21 and place back in basket on table.
In the coming week we are taking pre-orders so we have an idea how many to print. Order forms are also on table. Any questions see Phyllis Kuhn, Christy Solley, Sue LaClair or Rhae Leslie
Women’s Retreat Payment Deadline!!!
All reservations must be paid in full by March 21st.
The Snow is still deep but before we know it summer will be here! That means Christian camping! Session realizes the value that Christian camping has is deepening our relationship with Christ so they have once again agreed to cover 80% of the cost for Christian camping. If your child is going to Seneca Hills please turn in your registration and the 20% fee to Janice Grim by 3-21-10, this allows us to get the early registration discount. Feel free to check out other Christian camps if you are interested.
“Summer is closer than we think! Summer means, among other things, Vacation Bible School (VBS). The Christian Ed Committee is looking for volunteers to lead and to help with VBS. Please contact Murat Tanyel you feel led to this very important ministry.”
New Membership Class- Come and explore if God is calling you to become a member at Bethel. We will look at several areas of what it means to be a Christian and an active disciple of Jesus Christ as a member of Bethel. If you are not certain if you are ready to join Bethel this is the place to help you make that decision. We will meet for 6 weeks during the Sunday School hour in the Pastor’s office beginning April 18. Please call the church office to inform us of your intention to join us.
