MISSIONS OF THE MONTH…..
GEREIF BIBLE SCHOOL….. This school is located in Khartoum Sudan. This 3 year course is designed to prepare evangelist and teachers to go into the communities to share the gospel and to start churches. It is also used as the first level before the Nile Theological College. One problem Gereif Bible School is having is keeping good quality teachers employed. They can make a much higher salary in government employment. Our money sent would help offset this.
CAMPUS CRUSADE –GINNY & ALAN TUNG…..We are on staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. Alan has served 8 years 7 of those at Penn State, while I have served 4 years 3 years being in NW Pa. In 09 we moved to Va. We are looking forward to our 2nd year in Norfolk. Last year we saw 2 ministries launched. One at Old Dominion University (about 30 students) and one at Christopher Newport University (about 50 students). This year Alan and I will be trying to launch a new ministry at the The College of William and Mary. They have one student involved, which allows us to be recognized on campus as an official group. This summer Alan and I along with 9 students went on a mission trip to East Asia. Our mission was to make friends and share the gospel with students there. We saw 9 people come to Christ. We want to thank this family of believers for all your prayers and financial support. We are grateful for your partnership reaching the next generation of leaders of Christ!
LATCOM…..Latcom has been serving in Latin America since 1984. Executive Director Tim Ramsey asks for prayer for wisdom and discernment as he leads Latcom in their many aspects of ministry to proclaim Jesus Christ to the Latin American peoples. Pray for Monte Blanco staff as they prepare for the upcoming season and for the radio broadcast ministries airing throughout eastern Bolivia. Latcom thanks us for our continued financial support and gives praise to the Lord for the privilege to serve Him and His Kingdom
