New Membership Class- Come and explore if God is calling you to become a member at Bethel. We will look at several areas of what it means to be a Christian and an active disciple of Jesus Christ as a member of Bethel. If you are not certain if you are ready to join Bethel this is the place to help you make that decision. We will meet for 6 weeks during the Sunday School hour in the Pastor’s office beginning September 26. Please call the church office to inform us of your intention to join us.

You’re invited to a musical evening
of contemporary praise and worship!

7:30PM at Bethel UP Church
All are welcome; come as you are.

36 Bethel families have made a commitment to attend Financial Peace University starting this fall. Many of these young families need YOU. Providing child care is a great way to come along side these families to support their efforts to explore what God says about money. You need only commit to be on the list. A parent will call you as needed and you may dictate your availability on a weekly basis. You do not need to commit to all 13 weeks! If you are willing to serve a few hours on a Monday night call Cheri (724)656-0694!
How would you like the opportunity to participate in Bethel's worship service? We are in need of people to run the sound system or video display for the 8:30 and 11:00 services. We will be having training sessions for both of these ministries. These are two very important aspects of our worship service that aid in engaging hearts to worship the Lord. If you would like to serve in either of these areas, please contact Fred Raney.

A NOTE OF GRATITUDE
On behalf of our whole family, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for all of the love and support we received through Brandon’s battle with cancer. Brandon waged an incredibly valiant 20 month fight against an opponent who didn’t play fair. The hardships he had to experience were beyond imagination or comprehension, but we attribute his beautiful attitude, strength and determination as a blessing from above due to all the thousands of prayers lifting him and us all up. Brandon appreciated all the cards and notes of encouragement. Every day he would ask if he got any mail. Hundreds of people donated life-saving blood on his behalf. The delicious dinners and food brought to our house was amazing and so very much appreciated. It was wonderful not having to worry about cooking, grocery shopping, and dishes. Losing Brandon is so hard, his great personality touched and filled our lives, but this situation has been made more bearable through the outflow of love from the whole community. The many different acts of kindness and generosity have helped us every step of the way. We are grateful and appreciative and can’t thank you all enough.
-The family of Brandon Pitzer
