The Youth Pastor Search Committee, after prayer and careful consideration, has elected to expand the youth ministry to include young adults. The job description has been revised to reflect the credentials, education and/or experience required for the position. To prevent a disruption in our Youth Ministry program during the summer months Stephen Cowher will serve as the interim Youth Leader. A job posting for the position is currently being sent to seminaries and colleges for review by applicants. Please pray for the Committee as we seek God's will for this ministry.

EASTER FLOWERS…Deacons are taking orders for Tulips, Hyacinths and Easter Lilies. The cost is $5.00 Deadline for orders will be April 10. Envelopes for ordering are on table in narthex and back of sanctuary. They may be placed in the offering plates or given to a Deacon SPECIAL OFFERING…..A special offering will be received on Palm Sunday for Japan Disaster which will go through Samaritan’s Purse.
SERMON TOPICS…..This summer I would like to take a few weeks to preach on passages or topics which are on your minds and hearts. So go ahead and write down your requests and put it in the container on the outside of my office door or send via e-mail. You can pick a particular verse, passage or question in general. I cannot guarantee that I will preach on all submissions but will do my best. Yes, I know this is only April but I like to plan ahead. -Thanks, Pastor Mark
New Membership Class ~ Come and explore if God is calling you to become a member at Bethel. We will look at several areas of what it means to be a Christian and an active disciple of Jesus Christ as a member of Bethel. If you are not certain if you are ready to join Bethel this is the place to help you make that decision. We will meet for 6 weeks during the Sunday School hour in the Pastor’s office beginning May 1. Please call the church office to inform us of your intention to join us.
BETHEL FLOTILLA: Love the outdoors? How about a relaxing, scenic trip down a river, while spending time in fellowship? On Memorial Day (May 30) Mark and Angelo are going to take a canoe/kayak trip, and you are invited! There are a couple of options available, depending on how many people express interest. If you are going to be in town that day, and are interested in joining us, let us know! Call either Mark or Angelo for details.
