MACA Fire Fund
There has been a fire in the Mohawk Area which affected the home of the David Shiderly family of Enon Valley. The Mohawk Area Church Association is asking its congregations to receive a special offering for their assistance. Offering will be taken today and next Sunday. Silver offering plates are on table in narthex and back of sanctuary. Please make checks payable to “Bethel Deacons” and put Shiderly Fire Fund on memo line.

PRAYER VIGIL
The deacons are sponsoring a 24 hour prayer vigil for Renee Banting Parsons and her family beginning on Monday, August 1st at 6PM and ending on Tuesday, August 2nd at 6PM. Renee has been diagnosed with acute leukemia and intensive treatment has begun. She will be hospitalized for 4-6 weeks. Please sign up for a 30 minute time slot. The church will be open for the vigil with the exception of midnight till 6AM. You may come to the church to pray or you can pray from your home. On Tuesday, August 2nd at 5:30PM all who are able will meet in the Sunday school classroom off of the fellowship hall to close the vigil with group prayer led by Pastor Mark. The sign up sheet is on the table in the back of the church. If you have any questions please call Marsha Montgomery at 724-667-9693.


PROJECT H. O. P. E. is looking for donations of back to school supplies. Suggested items are: book bags, 3 ring binders, expo markers, scissors, KIDS socks and underwear, pencil boxes and monetary donations.
We DO NOT need clothes & shoes, crayons, glue, pencils, pens or loose leaf paper.
Please have items to church by Sunday, August 14th.

YOUTH POOL PARTY
There will be a Youth Group pool party at the Laughner's on Saturday, August 20 from 7:00-10:00 PM - girls bring pop and boys bring snacks.

FIRESIDE CHATS
Join the Tippin family around a bonfire at the manse. Come and enjoy fellowship and talk about nonsense, theology, Bible and denominational situations. Bring whatever you would like to cook over the fire, drinks and a lawn chair. The entire family is welcome. The fellowship will begin at 8:00PM on September 16. This date was changed from August 26.
No sign up required, just show up weather permitting
