Reformed Tradition 101
Recent events in our denomination have spurred a renewed interest in our Reformed heritage. The Elective Sunday School Class is hosting a series in the fundamentals of Reformed doctrine starting TODAY! It will be facilitated by Murat Tanyel and will last 7 weeks.

Brown Bag Lunch Conversation Sunday September 18 following the
2nd worship service. Unable to attend any of the fireside chats to discuss Bethel’s investigation of leaving the PCUSA for another reformed body? Join us for another brown bag lunch in the warm, dry and bug free confines of Fellowship Hall to listen and share. Find out what happened at the Presbyterian Fellowship Gathering in Minneapolis and much more. Bring a lunch and be part of the conversation

Join the Tippin family around a bonfire at the manse tonight. Come and enjoy fellowship and talk about nonsense, theology, Bible and denominational situations. Bring whatever you would like to cook over the fire, drinks and a lawn chair. The entire family is welcome. The fellowship will begin at 7:00PM tonight.

AWANA IS BACK!!!
WHAT: Awana is a children's ministry that develops spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follows Jesus Christ! Its activities offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community. WHO: Bethel's Awana is for children in grades K-6. HOW: Materials and uniforms are FREE for your child's first set! WHY: Your children have an awesome, fun-filled time with our staff while receiving discipleship training! WHEN & WHERE: Awana meets at Bethel Church every Thursday at 6:30pm. Hope to see you there!!

NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Nominating Committee welcomes your suggestions of names for nomination to offices of Elder, Deacon, Trustee, Nominating Committee, Nursery Supervisor and Auditor. If you have someone you would like the Committee to consider for one of the above offices contact Rusty George by email at rusty0616@hotmailcom. Nursery Supervisor and Auditor do not have to be members of the church. All other offices must be members in good standing who participate regularly in the life of the church and must have agreed in advance to be considered by the Committee for the position.

STUDY TIME
Pastor Mark’s study time is until 11:00AM each day. He will return calls after that time.

REMINDER!!!!!
If you unlock a door be sure it is locked when you leave. Be sure lights are off both inside and out. All Fellowship Hall non scheduled activities must be scheduled through the office
