Pastor Mark and an Elder will be available to meet with anyone who might like to ask questions or voice concerns about denominational issues on March 11th, and March 18th, after both Worship services in the Pastor’s office.
There will be an informational meeting for the congregation on March 18th during the Sunday School Hour to put forth Session’s reasons for recommending that Bethel UP Church be dismissed from the PCUSA to another Reformed body.
There will be a joint worship service on Sunday, March 25th at 11 am. Sunday School will start at 9:30 am.
Session has called a congregation meeting for March 25th, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to vote on Session’s motion for Bethel UP Church to leave the Presbyterian Church USA to join another Reformed body.
A presentation and time for discussion on the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians and the Fellowship of Presbyterians will be held on Sunday, March 11 at Northminster Church (New Castle) from 7 – 8:45 PM and again on Thursday, March 22 at First Presbyterian Church (Sharon) from 7 – 8:45 PM. This is a good opportunity to learn about one of the possible options for churches electing to leave the PC(USA).
CE committee is going to discuss curricula in our elementary age Sunday School classes during its March meeting. All Sunday School teachers who teach elementary age students are welcome to join the discussion on March 13, 2012 at 7:00 in the Elective Sunday School classroom.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
On behalf of the congregation, CE committee is looking for volunteers to lead vacation bible school (VBS). Please contact Elder Tanyel if you feel the call to lead VBS.

Attention Campers!!!
Summer 2012 is quickly approaching, and it is time to start thinking about summer camp for the kids. Anyone interested in going to camp and having an awesome time while learning more about your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ, please fill out a registration form for the camp you are attending and return them to Mark or Christy Solley. The church has graciously offered to pay 50% of the first child’s fee, 65% if two children attending, & 80% if three children attending, one church camp event per summer.
